Last week was quite a challenge. My little guy sliced his pinky finger right down to the bone and had four stitches done to sew him back together. Then came a cough (that sounded eerily like Croup), and then a car accident- in which my pregnant self and my darling toddler were just minding our own business when a cab flew up and hit us at a light. HUMMMMMPH. The ambulance came right away and checked Easton, I had to go to the hospital to have the little Bird checked out... we were all fine. Thanks be to God...

Easton has been doing so much talking lately, it's pretty unbelievable. He says things like: "I miss Donna" (his babysitter), "I miss daddy," "No it doesn't," and "I'm okay." He also tells me when he needs a diaper change- "dipey," and says "up" even when he means "down" (which I find incredibly cute).

Easton still doesn't eat very much- I really try to encourage eating through my own and don't ask him to "finish" his food or "take one more bite of____." I just say, "okay" when he says "all done" but make him wait until I finish my food until he gets out of his chair. During the day his eating is pretty consistent  (he will always eat fruit) but it's dinner time when he just doesn't want to eat. He often goes to bed with little or no dinner in his belly. Luckily, he seems just fine and sleeps right through the night with no dinner (I wish I could do that!).

I think that's all for now. We are all doing great, even after a rough week. We love our little Easton to tiny bits; he really is a little baby miracle.
