I intended to be really really good about posting a portrait of Easton once a week, every week in 2013. This last four weeks, I dropped the FREAKIN ball. It will not happen again. Cross my heart.
We had a really busy and fabulous week. We got to spend some major quality time with Tony because he had spring break this week (plus, mama got to sleep in a bunch!!) Our little family went to the park, hiked, celebrated my birthday, and went to the beach with our dearest pals. I set up a tent in the backyard, so Easton can have a place to play and pretend outside (and maybe even store some treasures)...he isn't quite sure about it, yet. Give it time, give it time.
Easton is saying SOOOOOO many words. Let me give you the latest:
-He says his name, pronounced: EEEssss-TON.
-"Dipey" (translation: diaper)
-"Uppaaaabobbbbeeee" (translation: "up above," from the song "Twinkle, Twinkle"
- "Ease" (translation: Please)
He is still singing, constantly- which absolutely warms my little heart. He sings to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle," "Old McDonald," and the "ABC's." He loves to run. All we hear throughout the house (ALL DAY LONG) is little feet running all around. E's appetite has gotten bigger (thank goodness) but he asks for "Cocos" round the clock (translation: cracker or cookie or cereal).
